Assessment & design

Organizations’ needs change as they develop. Using the lifecycles framework and through an equity lens, we will assess your organization’s programs and services, business model, leadership and management, systems, and governance. This assessment will help us develop a capacity plan that builds on your strengths and addresses your challenges.

Strategic and operational planning

Working with your staff, board and community, we will develop annual and multi-year roadmaps based on the developmental stage of your organization to guide your work and decisions. These plans will align your activities with your mandate, values, and resources. We will also create processes to ensure your plans are living documents that will continue to serve you and bring alignment to your team and board.

Process design and facilitation

I design and facilitate online and in-person engagements that inspire participants to move from creative idea generation to decision-making and into productive action. These engagements can range from one-off small team meetings to larger cross-sectoral multi-phased dialogues. I hold space for groups to engage in the critical conversations needed to help them move through complexity into meaningful action.

 

Strategic thought partnership

I act as a trusted sounding board and advisor to senior leaders, supporting them in thinking through complex decisions and actions. Topics range from partnership development to founder transition and board conflicts. I ask questions, share ideas, and facilitate connections to help shift your paradigm, surface your assumptions, provoke you into action, and ultimately help you navigate complex challenges and opportunities.

Community Consultation

Sound and compassionate decisions, involve input from various sources. Using interviews, surveys, and small group conversations, I gather a wide-range of perspectives, contextualize it within different theoretical frameworks, and analyze the content to provide you a comprehensive understanding of the internal and external forces affecting your organization or initiative.

Project management

I’m all about planning the plan, with a sharp focus on scope, budget, and timelines. Applying my project management skills, I’ll help you set boundaries and achievable expectations. I also recognize that creativity and innovation require room for spontaneity. To support this approach, I proactively identify risks and mitigation strategies and plan every detail to allow for radical spontaneity.
